Hey Guys,
of course this is primarily aimed at Nigel's consideration but I figure this might be something good to post for opinions.
I believe we should up the requirements for GW as far as elder is concerned. I think at this point we have enough dedicated players to make elder a little bit more of an epic position held by proven players with a bit of seniority and maturity to follow clan expectations and support the original vision of an enjoyable family (DRAMA FREE) atmosphere.
I suggest the requirement for consideration of promotion be bumped to around 4000 to 5000 in a two week period to then be assessed in a restricted forum chat with the clan elders to make the final decision. I figure this might be a good filter to prevent immaturity from polluting the clan and gives a bit more of a special feel to having that position.
The restricted forum would help with needed discussion if there are problems with certain members or something that might need to be discussed behind closed doors.
GW is a privilege to be a part of and as the primary clan I think this would help give it an epic feel.
As a bit of a newbie elder I'd be just fine with being demoted and contributing to these requirements to be re-assessed.
