Hey all,
So, in GW3 recently niglekram has been over for a visit, and he, SCOUT, trevor and I (the Leaders) have been tossing ideas back and forth on how to deal with this problem.
For those, unaware, here is what is wrong in the simplest sense:
1) GuerillaWarrior is having issues with keeping nearly 50 ACTIVE Town Hall 9 players, only having 35-40 that can be classed as such;
2) GuerillaWar2 is largely inactive, and even the most active cannot keep up with the GW requirements each season.
Personally, in GW3 we have found that we can easily keep 35-40 active players who range from TH7-late TH8 mostly. However, last season nigle spent time in GW2 and concluded that perhaps 15 players are properly active, with the rest contributing little.
What we are aiming to do in this discussion is figure out the best way to structure our 'Guerilla Family' to best suit all clans.
I would welcome suggestions from all members, and incorporate the main ideas into this opening post so that we can come up with the best solution.
First of all, here are the ideas so far:
1) We move towards having just 2 clans, GW and GW2. To put it bluntly, we be very aggressive with policing the activity of players. There are pros and cons to this, so please discuss.
2) The creation of a 'GuerillaFarm' (working title) clan, which is for the higher level players that may not necessarily be able to keep up with the high standards of GW
To start off with, those are the ideas at the top of my tired head. PLEASE discuss any ideas YOU might have, and the pros and cons of the ones listed above.
Cheers,
RattySL.
